So i seen a 1 star review by ashley davis wrote about the headphones not being correct and the soudtrack and that why would he give his fathers grimoire away to somone but yet the acting and special effects is great first off to say black whole sun came out in 2010 is Ridiculous the song came out in 1994 its clearly the right song for the era also the first in ear headphones were actually made all the way back in 1891 by a french engineer so to say they were not out in thw 90s but were actually created in 1891 is just as ridiculous then they go on to say something about the gryphon not being able to posess a human because it couldnt in greek mythology the story is from a best selling german book called Der Grief which stinks its not english translated yet becaue the show is dam good so im sure the book is amazing but anyway why wouldnt it be able to posess someone its not like its even just based on earth and its not supposed to be just based on greek mythology even if its loosley based on greek mythology its a book and the writer decided to make it able to posess a human so its able to posess a human thats enough for any normal person now him giving the grimoire away may have bin a stupid decision beings he didnt know them and it was his fathers but thats still not Unbelievable people make stupid decisions on a daily basis so why cant he anyway Ashley got one thing right the acting is good and the special effects are great the only things i would have to say bad about the show is that in the original german with english sutitles the words dont always match up with the person speaking which i will admit is annoying to me the fact that they made special effects so good seems like the editors should have bin able to lync the speech with their lips also there are some bad thing happening between the teenager and his mother with her threatening admission to a mental hospital as punishment which is kind of crazy but at the same time there are some crazy parents out there i admit there is Definitely some things that could have bin left out to make me give this show 5 stars and if the acting and special affects were not as good as they were it would be 2 or 3 stars i would have to say its definitely not enough to put you off of this great fantasy show because the good parta outweigh the bad and dont let someone whos whole reason for not liking it was because of not using the right music or headphones for the era yet complety being wrong about the time frames stop you from watching a good show which couls be a great show come season 2 if they leave out some of the parts that were not so good in season 1 also dont let me decide either if you like fantasy books and shows give it a watch get a few episodes in before you decide to keep watching or not if your not too much of a fantasy enthusiast this might not be for you but even so it wont kill you to watch a few eposodes to see if maybe this is a fantasy you could enjoy
