For me, I felt like it wasn’t enough character development or plot. The whole plot happened in 24 hours which made the story seem rushed. It definitely could’ve hit as a tv series because a LOT of the characters seemed like they had untold stories and it could’ve been great to see how their backstories intertwine. I loved how it was shot and I loved how it showcased the history of our music and I really enjoyed Michael B. I’m rooting for Ryan Coogler, I’ll always cheer on a black man BUT Sinners was “ok”. I feel like there’s a lot of hype around it.
