I found it to be really interesting: outer bleakness, inner warmth--the dreamscapes informed by other worlds and values really worked for me--fire on ice.
Funniest scenes: Mamoud the tour guide ... going to all of the special places, special to only those who still bother to see with their hearts: dried up fountains in dead malls, and the grave of a revolutionary in the middle of a highway intersection.
Strange in a good way. My husband hated it.
