I was so disappointed for my 5 year old. He was so excited for this to come out. And Knuckles is barely in it! It’s all about the human character. My son did a good job sitting and watching a few episodes, but I could tell he was really bored. I was too.

I really enjoyed this movie. I’ve seen it twice. But I have to say, I’m quite disappointed in the stereotyping of the two black women in the film. Especially as a Christian film, it’s surprising to see such blatant and obvious stereotyping. The eye rolling, gossiping, front desk working, neck rolling black women are the downside of this film for me as a black Christian. But other than that, this film is really good. It doesn’t have nearly as many cringey moments as other Christian films seem to have. And it’s encouraging and realistic. I would give it a 5 if not for the stereotyping.
