Pretty awful as a musical as no set, no scenery, no chorus, no costume change, no story, no acting, no pace change .. but OK as a pop concert if you like that kind of thing - fast, loud, many flashing neon lights, relentless high energy etc. The songs are actually good! It’s funny too. And the cast we saw were good. But it’s so disappointing if you’re expecting a musical as it really isn’t one. Also we hated the shouting out to the audience all the time, like it was a local radio show at a free event - “hello *name of town*!!! You’re in for a treat tonight!!!!!” Etc etc etc. Think - going to a little mix concert rather than going to the theatre to see a show.
