There is no such thing as a perfect game... but the Last of us part 2 takes narrative story telling to a level previously unseen. The gameplay - fantastic. The graphics - jaw dropping. Everything about the original game EVERYONE loved has been improved upon.. so why so much division? All the 1 star reviews out there come from one thing... they didn't like the way the story went and the narrative choices the creators made. They don't care that it made sense. Or that stories came to natural conclusions. In game of thrones no one wanted what happened at the Red Wedding to occur... but every choice made by our "heroes" lead to those natural moments. The choices made in game ones story... brought us to the revelations in part two. This was a story of the lengths we are driven by hate.. on multiple sides. That the game makers put you into the shoes of both protagonists. The 1st game horrible things were done all in the name of attempting to prevent personal loss and grief... the second deals with the wrath of "making them pay" and finding no relief. An incredible game.
