About the same relevance to the first film as the 2nd flush on that same poo that wont go away. And as frustrating watch

I felt ashamed to ride my bike home after watching this film. My favourite scene was when Cathy said "we're out of ice, I'm gonna get some ice" The camera then followed her to the ice machine. The scene returned to two men sitting in a motel room. At this moment I was unsure if she would get more ice however, after a few moments of watching Tom Hardy stare at the ground ........ Cathy did in fact return with more ice.
