Wanted to enjoy this game but these video game designers have got to understand adults who are mostly buying these games do not care about mind numbing difficulty and insane levels of time consumption. We enjoy a good story we are likely never going to care less about our ratings or anything like that we just want to get through the story enjoy the cutscenes and the cool nuances of the games design. So a warning to anyone thinking of purchasing this game you will have over 100 hours dedicated to beating it. It is difficult beyond words. Every boss is ten times harder than any in great games like god of war. Due to this I will never purchase another From software game without reading tons of reviews. No more pre purchases with games being designed like this. Basically they took a three hour long program at best and figured out how to make it last an eternity. You die start over and over and over from the beginning of the level———huh huh that’s right the beginning. Take a rest at a sculptors idol ie travel and rest point all basic enemies respawn so then basically you just have to run like hell to get back to where you were without them killing you fifty times again like they did the first time. You are basically the weakest ninja in the whole history of Japan you are somehow a Shinobi which has nearly no skills. Protagonistic character flaw in basic writing. So basically if your a kid has all the time in the world decent game If your an adult you will be more fullfilled doing yours and six or seven peoples taxes. So for myself this game sucks. Please remake the original Tenchu exactly as the original with better graphics. That would do just fine.
