If only I'd have had this book then! I burned through the book in a single night and was grateful for the personal input from Dr. Baker. The text was interesting and the many examples were clear, easy to understand, and informative. I especially enjoyed the comparisons of gains vs loss in terms of addressing possible increased LDL levels and the benefits of A1C , C-reactive protein gains. I read this book during my first few days on the Carnivore diet. While still relatively new to it at two weeks, I am stunned at the improved mental outlook, better sleep, and additional stamina during daily work outs. This read is a great motivational tool that will help people understand what to expect on this journey. You will be driven to read and learn more about the science of how a body functions.
