Story was enticing, and it's closer to REAL Assassins Creed games unlike the crummy, just generally bad combat systems of Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. As someone who was playing ACII when it came out, this is the most refreshing entry into the series in years.

It was great at first, but so many fun mechanics had to be taken out for vikings. It plays alot like Odyssey, just missing alot of the fun mechanics. Overall it's a pretty, well made game, I was just expecting more new things, not just the removal of old stuff. I got bored playing at around 30 hours in and have not finished it. I'm not sure I will.
