Saturday Night Live has lost its charm due to its immense emphasis on satirizing politics. Understandably, it is a work of satire, but it has gone downhill and does not live up to its former glory. It has exchanged its humorous aspect for making fun of any political official and each episode has essentially become the same cookie cutter episode that just does not stop when it should. The actors and actresses have about the same amount of character as a piece of cardboard. It brings politics and racism into nearly every episode and it is just not funny whatsoever. It has lost its original humor that made Saturday Night Live so popular in the first place... a real shame.
