I really love this book, I re-read it every couple of years. It's brutal, and it's ending is uncompromisingly realistic. If the author's aim was to drive home the point that in a real nuclear war, there would be no winners -he succeeds.
If you think you would enjoy an apocalyptic WW3 story about tank warfare, buy this book. It's a little gem, and you won't be disappointed.
