the readability and generality of this textbook is number one thing if one just has finished a textbook on mathematical analysis like by Apostol. one gains a solid understanding of differential forms and nice introduction to manifolds which conveys main ideas. also one can get through all details in proofs specially the proof of change of variables theorem is prodigious.
