I got this novel free, on Libby, the library app. I give my honest opinion. I thought it was a great book. I have not been to the Villisca ( Iowa) murder house ( a B&B, now) but it is not to far from my home. I have oftentimes wondered how the person was not caught, and now I have more insight into that. I also thought mabe they had struck agian. I highly recommend this book, although it may give you the creeps!
