A captivating show with multiple story lines simultaneously. A lot of action mixed with humor and relationship stories. I would love a season 2, but that evidently is not going to happen.

It is truly unbelievable that the critics rated this movie at 35%. This was a great story and with a good cast. It was sad, but also inspiring . Moral of the story....sometimes you just ignore the critics. An outstanding movie despite dubious reviews.

A stunning mini series leaving us astonished. A great cast and beautifully directed. A great study of human relationships under stress and anxiety. This was one of the greatest viewing experiences we have ever had.

The only thing amusing about this trash was that we invested 100 minutes watching. Ishtar is an Academy award winner compared to this. Nothing redeemable at all...please skip this movie and save yourself torture.⁰

What do the critics know....an excellent and moving film. John Cho is outstanding...51% on rotten tomatoes..give me a break.

One more addition to my review. Several posters claim Phil is not an experienced food critic and incapable of judging. The fact that he is not a biased and pretensious foodie is exactly what makes this work. His love for food translates into the same reactions most of us would have. Other reactions that he is culturally insensitive is ridiculous. He is very sensitive and respectful of cultural differences...he is careful to avoid arrogance. We love this show...and hope it lasts for several more years.

A well written and superbly acted 8 part series. A well produced drama that is emotionally charges and intense. A cant miss series.

Another study in pointless self misery and loathing. Blanchett was strong....however, this is another film that we could have have missed and not been upset about it.
