You know, it’s well known at this point that Netflix can produce some great shows and some pretty bad ones. I’d say Outer Banks is a pretty good show. While there are some clichés and a few moments that are cringy, the show makes up for it in intensity, drama, romance, and story progression. The characters are likeable, the storyline is consistent for the most part and I think it’s fair to say that the acting is well done. Hopefully the story can conclude in a great way so that the show avoids making more seasons even when they’ve ran out of ideas for the sake of money versus the art of the show. Churning out mediocrity will hurt you. 8/10
