I thought 100
humans was interesting until i got to the episode on bias which turned offensive and uncomfortable when the narratorโsn comments contradicted the expert. The expert clearly says that the child made and association based on what she has seen and was not being a bigot or prejudice. The narrator then discusses how a study in the 1940โs showed that children chose the white doll over other skin colors, and therefore were bigotted toddlers. What the narrator failed to say is that children often choose dolls that look like them; if the study only involved white children then the results seem accurate. But to go on and show a kkk rally and say they were racist children tnat parents of the children failed, was very ignorant and ironically biased. Then she moved on to discuss white bias. Bias is bias- no need to attach color. Just like discrimination is discrimination- can go in any direction towards any group. Why discuss a โstudyโ from the 1940โs and not a recent study.
I decided not to waste my time on tne rest of tne episodes because it was obvious tnis lacked professionalism and there was a clear agenda.
