I love comic book movies, although I prefer mostly DC I really enjoy some of the MARVEL and DARK HORSE comic book movies too. Unfortunately regarding this particular movie regretfully I have to agree with the movie critics that this one and the Black Widow was one of the weakest MARVEL movies. The story line starts out great but as the movie goes on it gets weaker on addition there is no chemistry whatsoever between the actors. Each of them do their parts but the interaction is not there and as a viewer I am left with no emotional reaction at any of the events happening. They casted great actors and yet performance alone without bond between them left me at the end of the movie confused and frustrated more so because I was looking forward to see this movie. The writers and the director were trying so hard to please certain group of people that they got wrapped up how to include it in the movie , instead they should have focused on a better story line !!! This movie could have had so much potential! I am an avid Ancient Alien believer, they could have just take one of their theories and go with it !!! Instead of focusing in the story line and the actors performance they tried so hard to be “politically correct “ and yet they still left out some groups. The story line is weak and flawed with contradicting ideas , theories and speculations. I am not going in more details in this comment because for one I am not a professional critic, and secondly it wouldn’t change anything ! It definitely was a waste of my time ! In conclusion this long waited movie was a huge disappointment to me EXCEPT the music.The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because I love the composer Ramon Djawadi ! And he never disappoints ! The music was exquisite! As a comic book movie fan I would say that this movie was #1 on the Worst MARVEL movie list followed by “Black Widow”,”Captain Marvel” and “Dr. Strange”. One of the many reasons I prefer the DC comic books and movies is because they have better story lines for their characters, better script for the movie and less SUPERHEROES. Too many superheroes “dilutes” the story line and makes us confused. What a shame !!! This movie could have been the best of the Marvel movies , for it could have had great potential with a different writer and s different director !
