Great entertainment if you like attending Broadway shows! I laughed and cried and was engaged the whole time. I was delighted to see David Alan Grier as the Pastor and I feel like every single character excelled in their performance. I loved the choreography! I'm not a fan of Fantasia's music - she can SAAAANG, I just never liked her mainstream songs. In this movie, her style of singing (everyone's really) is different than what you are used to from them. Different in the best way possible. They stuck to the original storyline and characters but even though you know what's going to happen, the viewing experience was like going through all of those emotional highs and lows for the first time.

This was a thoroughly entertaining horror movie! Creepy, relatable, surprising. Gosh it was SO refreshing to see something a little more original and unpredictable. It was also not TOOO scary like The Exorcist (original) or Hereditary. Well done! And this was a directorial debut!!

One of my absolute FAVORITE movies this year! Watching it was such a fun adventure that I went back to the movies seeing it two days in a row. Wonderful cast and chemistry.
