I'm a senior citizen and remember well what a smash those first 5 years were right from the first show. I enjoyed the movie but would have liked to have seen more of the first performers instead of just Belushi and Chase, and I found the ending to be too short and abrupt when I really wanted to see more than just one sketch featuring only Belushi from that first show. Why not five minutes to show us Aykroyd, Radner, Curtin, and Newman in first show sketches? And on Weekend Update, when Chevy says, "I'm Chevy Chase", he always said, "and you're not". How did they miss that? Gilda Radner was a greatly beloved star but she is barely in the movie.
