If you think you know all about Fife, think again. Although I have visited quite a few of the 111 places I was unaware of much of the history behind them. Ms Tait writes in a highly entertaining manner and imparts so much information: this book literally becomes a page turner. You just have to know about the next place and the story behind it. Keep a pen and paper handy to note down all the places you will simply have to visit when or if you have the chance. But even if you can't or won't ever go to Fife this book makes interesting reading. You will fly through it!
