If you are an original LM fan, this version wonโt stand up. The little mermaidโs singing voice rivaled the original; she is a true voice talent; however, the acting across almost all characters including her, came across flat and affectless and some plot changes amplified this issue. Iโd skip it and rewatch the original. I was really looking forward to this as it was my childhood obsession but unfortunately, I am left disappointed.
