This is a sad situation. Why are we not believing the men who were victims? If this is there platform to speak out we should give them the voice we have given anyone in the "me to" movement. How many years did we blindly trust our respected clergy?
I believe Micheal Jackson was one of the greatest performers of our time. People are flawed. He said he wanted to be remembered for his talent. 1 of 4 children are sexually abused. Time to face the fact and bring this out in the open. Can we hate the act without hating the actor? Perhaps we can deal with this problem in a way that will help all children going forward along with giving perpetrators a way to get help. If hate continues they will stay underground and the shame will keep them acting out. Michael Jackson might be a good place to start. We love his music, his performance art, and perhaps we can love his memory in spite of his grave sins.
