I remember watching this movie when I was much younger and I never really understand what was going on, even now I barely understand it, but still a great movie. It is so bizarre to watch, there is no direct plot, just things happening but not much of a full on story. Even so, there is something so magical about it, it represents so many parts of childhood so well and has so much meaning packed into every part. It seemed like all of the wild things represented a different way children act, and they would walk across huge landscapes in such short amount of time or complete large tasks in just one night. It seems weird when you first watch it, but it is so amazing when you look back on it, realizing that it all represents a child's mind, things that make no sense will happen but they all fit into the narrative. I do wish there was a little bit more of a conclusion in the movie, but even as is, I enjoyed watching it so much and it is definitely one of my new favorite movies.
