Th book its self is very good, but it would not be understandable for people who do not know Greek mythology. I am reading the book now in the 10th grade and I am lucky I have a teacher who explains the characters well. If you were to just read the book alone it will not make any sense especially since it takes characters from other stories like Antigone.
