Honestly, Fantastic! I feel like a lot of people with negative reviews had the problem of it not meeting to horror genre expectation of immediate action and scare due to its slower pacing, which I understand BUT If you look at SINNERS as a whole spectacle, it is a really creative, original, ambitious and extraordinary piece of work. It is extremely entertaining with fantastic: storytelling, tension, music, cinematography, ambiance and action scenes, and as an English buff the amount of themes connections and frankly the analysis I could do on this fill is insane! I myself am not the greatest lover of horror, but I really liked this refreshing blend of genres and a unique story in world so dominated by sequels and hero movies, in the same way "GET OUT" gave a twist on the horror genre. The dance number, ending credits and themes get a special shout out and honestly are reason enough to see the film! I really enjoyed coming out of the cinema dazed by Ryan Coogler's master piece which in terms of dialogue and plot felt connecting and fulfilling (like the kkk garbe in the backround of the cottage, or the irish beer and italian wine). Overall 9 if not 10 outa 10!
