Great addition to the Mario franchise, the wonder seeds add a unique spin for sure, and the badges mix things up. The bad reviews I see are talking about it being too easy, but I wonder (no pun intended) if they are trying to get all of the wonder seeds, and coins, and challenges, these definitively add some challenge to it.
