Solid Ghostbusters movie, but...
The villain, Garakka, falls flat on his face. He's built to be this Gozer-like threat, an ancient being hungry for death after being imprisoned for millennia. And when he finally returns in the rushed 3rd act (literally only 15 minutes) of the movie, he sends the "Death Chill" upon NYC, which (despite it's epic name) only throws the city into an early winter. You could look at all the promotional material (especially the posters) and probably imagine a more interesting climax/3rd act. And my last two things with this movie are it's (unfortunately) cut content and the subplot with the character, Melody. Phoebe's boring love interest that poorly ties into the main plot.
Like I said at first, this movie is solid and I would definitely watch it again, but Afterlife is such a better movie.
