Usual Bruce Willis affair but quite likeable. The message is unchanged; vigalante seeks justice for his family where the police fail. Graphic scenes not for the faint hearted. Original movies were pretty dreadful, this one is watchable if you seek this movie genre. Also to mention, it’s fiction so it doesn’t need to carry any new message!

The children liked it but I cannot see this film leading to any sequels and it just left me feeling it was rather a lightweight movie in so many areas, compared to some of the truly great kids movies launched these days.

Appealing Mark Wahlberg movie, usual theme but nevertheless watchable combo of action, humour and likeable good guys. Sequel surely planned.
