Its a Danish movie about an 1945 RAF bombing raid that goes wrong. All in all its a great docu-drama to watch. Captures the feel of being under German occupation. Working for the enemy and religious angst are a part of this story for 2 characters. The pacing is a bit slow, but it pays off, the nuggets are laid in relation to mistakes made in wartime and played out in the end. All the characters children to adult were authentic. One child was dealing with a trauma due to witnessing a horror at the beginning of the movie and his relationship with his childhood friend's and relatives trying to help him overcome his loss of being able to speak. He turns out to be a pivotal individual at the end of the movie. Also reveals the primitive medical practices at the time. An accurate slice of war time life and the horrors. This kind of horror has beeng repeated in the modern day war in ukraine. I did not know about this story at all. I was wondering what was going to happen in the end, so it took me by surprise.
