This book is so well written that it was like a movie screen in my mind! I was right there getting to know every character’s personality! Young Hawks days and nights on the streets of Portsmouth scouring for food and a place to warmly bed down for the night. Sawbone the mean spirited arch enemy’s hot foul mouth breathing threats of death! The intimacy of true friends ! I could feel the wind and hear the storms out on the sea! I throughly enjoyed going on this adventure on the seas without leaving the comfort of my home!
