It was enjoyable. As a Mario fan I had a blast with this film just enjoying it the entire way through. It was like every second there was an Easter egg from one of the games just there in my face, & AMAZING SCORE with the classic Mario music too. They really made a love letter movie to Mario fans. But it is still a kids movie and kids do have a short attention span, so they made this film too short and too fast. When I was like close to the middle it felt like I literally just walked into the Theater like I just got there. I was just in my seat probably about and hour or almost an hour into the film and somewhere in the middle I still felt like I just walked into the film even though it looked like it was about to be over. The pacing was WAY TOO FAST, didn’t really get to live in the moment of the worlds, Luigi basically didn’t exist in the second act, and the song choice was…meh. I feel like maybe it should of been like a 2 hour film but hey that is just my opinion. At the end of the day I still REALLY enjoyed it and can’t wait to see it again soon. 7.5/10. I say this is something you own.
