Very hit or miss this year.... PROS: Campaign was thrilling from start to finish, containing probably one of the best Story missions ever made in a COD Campaign *Zombies*.... The Zombies mode itself is well put together with plenty of things to do, lots of cool features to unlock so far, and the thrill of intense survival the higher the rounds get CONS: Multiplayer is absolutely horrendous this year... While yes some of the maps are good IMO most are just poorly designed shipment clones (where are the touted 3 lane maps they spoke of?) plus they are just made worse by the worst spawns I've seen since the original mw2 pre patch, (yes I must be old lol)... And let's be honest the whole the camo grind itself is fun and simplistic which is a good thing... The weapon leveling system just feels like it drags on sooo slow... It shouldn't take what feels like an entire prestige just to unlock all the attachments for a single rifle.... But the worst offender of all is the ridiculously unforgiving matchmaking system... I'll be upfront, I'm an average player at best .98 - 1.07kdr... But I do occasionally pop off (I play hardcore only).... I shouldn't be punished for doing really well in one match by being thrown in to CDL level fights for hours afterwards.. makes zero sense... Go positive one match then forced to fight an unwinnable series of 3-4 matches after, the way it feels at least.... And I do mean unwinnable, facing full teams of higher prestige players... When I'm a strictly solo player myself... In what reality is that fair?.... All in all I am enjoying some aspects of BO6... But it's hard to truly enjoy the whole experience when the most important Mode of play often feels uncomfortable to enjoy and leaves me feeling full of regret and anger... Honest opinion 2 out of 5, Gets points for stellar visuals, addicting gameplay.. ZOMBIES...but is destroyed by lackluster main features and poorly managed matchmaking
