It's amazing how I go through the reviews for Ancient Apocalypse. I may have only seen the first few episodes of the show, but I have come to the solution that Graham Hancock is on the right track. I have always followed the path of what your instincts tell you. I have amateurishly studied subjects of cultures, myths/legends, and faiths from around the world. I have learned that everything is similar. Myths and legends have been said to be based off of fact with little tweaks here and there to make a great story.
As I went through the reviews of the show, I had to laugh and smile at many reviews whether they were for the show or against it. It makes me wonder about those that are so against the THEORY of a far more ancient civilization lost to history and time. It is definitely plausible that there was one civilization that influenced many other cultures around the world.
So far as I am watching this show, Hancock has presented ideas, theories and stories that do match what I have learned myself. He has also presented ones that I have not yet studied. I am loving this show, and my mind will not be changed.
It is always best to keep an open mind about ideas and theories no matter the subject. That is how we advance as a society. We must learn from the past, so that way we do not end up like previous civilizations from the past, written or forgotten.
