I’m so grateful this book exists. It is a wonderful, age appropriate way to help explain to kids complex ideas of gender to younger kids. Highly recommend for all families. It is especially great for anyone whose kid has ever been bullied for being not girly or boyish enough, trans families, and families who have trans folks in their larger community.
It is important for us to help our children understand the world around them. Ignoring reality sets them up for failure and is bad parenting.
You can tell that many of the one-star reviews are from people who’ve never read this book.
