It was good with the exception of leaving Chris out of the movie. For us die hard Von Erich fans who grew up following this family, cheering on their wins, crying for them with each tragedy, is like a slap in the face to leave one of the brothers out. The movie was too short considering the amount of life events that took place in real life. It really should have been made into a 2-3 season long TV series instead of a movie. I have a new found respect for Zac Efron. He did an amazing job. I didn’t feel the actor who played Kerry was the right fit. Kerry was my favorite and there was nothing about the actor’s physical appearance or his portrayal of Kerry that reminded me of Kerry, at all. This is a personal preference, not necessarily stating the actor did a poor job. The producers or whoever is in charge of casting, should have made a more suitable choice. If you know nothing about the history of the Von Erich family, it’s definitely worth watching to get a glimpse of their life. For us fans, we know this movie could have been made into so much more.
