Loving Murderbots! I can’t put it down!

So engaging. I loved Keegan’s book Foster and find her style of writing these small stories with such great clarity really wonderful. The book transports you to a different world and it’s a testimony to her that she can create such complete worlds in so little time.

I loved this book! The author creates an engaging world to explore the impact of trauma on people. She is so curious as to how people tick and I loved the way she put her characters together and how deft her puns are. It seems like such a long book when you open it but it pulls you in and at the end you love the characters and are sad to see them go. I learned so much from them, and i absolutely loved the ride. I read an NPR interview with her, and she talks about her process and the NYT magazine piece on Jack Teich’s kidnapping and they really added so much context to the book.

This was such an informative and engaging listening.

I loved Batman and Ultra and thoroughly enjoyed Prequel! Maddow reads the well researched and thoughtful book with her signature voice and it is so engaging and fun to listen to
