Just loved the movie... I have no words to express... โค๏ธ
Watched the Telugu version that too without much knowledge of the language as neither Malayalam nor Tamil version were available at Surat, Gujarat. As they say music has no language; I will add "beautifully crafted romantic cinema" neither has any language!
After ages, I have witnessed a movie that may be compared to cult classics like Roja. Director Hanu Raghavapudi has put a stupendous effort into making this poetic romantic tale with breathtaking visuals captured by cinematographer PS Vinod sir. Every scene was nothing short of a painting with such aesthetic the production house Vyjayanthi movies did & hats off to you guys! Another important aspect has been the music & BGM by Vishal Chandrasekhar, what a classic feel from the bygone era! As came to know from his video, all the traditional instruments only were used for composing the songs and it was creating such n impact suiting to the 1960-1980 kind of feel. Choreography by Brinda master was superb.
Coming to characters, DQ as Lt. Ram played so effortlessly with his boyish charm, blushing face in love scenes & most importantly dubbed in his own voice! Mrunal Thakur as SitaMahalakshmi urf Noorjahan just lit the screen every time they appeared together! Dream debut of Mrunal down south & must say that YOU HAVE ARRIVED! You are going to stay here for long. What a chemistry between Ram & Sita and I was just sucked into the world of Ram garu & Sita garu and the journey further was nothing short of a spectacle!
And the rebellious #Afreen (Rashmika) through whom the whole story unfolds did a completely different role and your combo with #Balaji (Tarun Bhacker) gave many giggles as well. Fantastic job by both of you! Appreciate Sumanth garu for his Vishnu Sharma having grey shades but he did a tremendous role as well. As a viewer, I felt angry upon you & that's just bcoz of your depiction of the character. Thank you Vennela Kishore for "Durjoy" & those comedy.
I must say that every character was aptly chosen whether it's GVM as major Selvan or Sachin Khedekar as Major Tariq, PrakashRaj, Rohini, Shatru, Murali Sharma, Sunil, Rahul Ravindran, etc. A special appreciation for Chinmayi Sripada for the beautiful dubbing she did for #Sita's character done by Mrunal.
Though it's 2 days since I watched the movie, still unable to come out of it & there is still an urge to watch it again! Such is the addiction of #sitarmam Thanks to Hanu sir for reminiscing the world of letters & the strong bonds of love that it used to carry and also proving that epic romantic tales can be told so artistically as well. You rocked man.
Wish all the best for the whole team of #SitaRamam to reach more success & accolades in the coming days.
Watch it in any language in the nearest cinemas guys if you don't want to miss the magic of #SitaRamam
