I guess I’ll start with some things I didn’t like: Triton; the actor who played this character didn’t show much emotion and just didn’t seem to suit the part at all, very bland. I just wasn’t a fan! Also, Sebastian’s voice didn’t resemble the originals at all, and I wish they would have used someone with a deeper/ more exciting voice.. it would have made him stand out more.. considering he’s one of the main characters that I loved!! The sea/animals could have been a little less creepy looking I guess! I also wish they spruced up Ariel a little more. Her hair and outfit just looked a bit messy/sloppy for half the film..(vibrant red hair would have been a nice pop like in the original too). The last dress/hairdo she wore was a lot better. Loved the songs,(however I wish the opening film started with music and vibrant colours like the original as well-rather than just a “family meeting” which was a little gloomy and dull.) Otherwise I think everything else was great! Lots of cute scenes and a better love story in this one.
