Hmm where to start - afternoon performance Saturday 15.3
The good:
A technical wonder
Visually spectacular (most of the time) - lighting amazing
The 'Abbatars' on stage are incredibly life like and the huge screens make it feel real although the large images aren't as realistic.
A good mix of some of the well known and not so well known tracks to keep it interesting
The bad:
The 'Dance floor' wasn't a dance floor on Saturday afternoon as it was so overcrowded everyone was a sardine...you'd expect this in a club but not at this venue. Have the organisers increased the numbers to cram more people in?
It was WAY too hot...where was the aircon?
Too much irrelevant animation rather than having 'Abba' on stage.
This isn't 'Abba' as you might remember but a new version ๐คฃ Lots of athletic dancing by the avatars.
There seemed to be a general feeling in the audience this is 'just a video' so people talked loudly to each other on unrelated matters even when the avatars appeared.
The ugly:
The sound quality! The band are great but during this show the mix overpowered everything so you lost the Abba vibe in thumping bass and a messy treble that drowned out the original vocals of A&A.
