“Extraordinary” is correct, both for the character and the show! One of my all-time favorites. Park Eun-bin does an incredible presentation of the autistic Woo. This is one of those rare shows that lives with you long after you finish the last episode. But skip the version with English language dubbing. The English narration is stiff and stilted, and the voices belong to personalities very different from the characters. If you don’t understand Korean and don’t like subtitles, then you probably should skip the show altogether. But you’ll be missing a real treat!

A beautiful, wonderful story with exquisite character development. The finale, however, was bizarre and unsatisfying. If you haven’t watched or finished the series, I suggest you stop about halfway through the final episode and dramatize an appropriate ending in your own imagination. I would rate it a solid “5” but for the last episode.

This is a left wing hate fest in which the screedwriter implies that Cheney's survival of open heart surgery was a great disappointment. Apart from adopting Cheney's habit of sometimes drawing his mouth to one side when speaking, Christian Bale's character is wholly a product of the Left's feverish imagination. It bears little similarity to the real Dick Cheney. Frankly, I'm sorry to have donated 14 bucks to the cause of anti-Conservative propaganda.

Why, oh why, are the film adaptations of King's novels invariably disappointing? I suppose it's because the magic of King's storytelling manifests in nuance, not in grand plots. Film simply is not an adequate medium to portray that nuance; cameras are incapable of capturing the visions that King's prose evokes in the human imagination.
