No other series has helped to shape my life more than The Next Generation. In Gene Roddenberry's universe, in the 24th Century there is no hunger, no greed, and all of the children know how to read. Humans, through great struggle, have learned to set aside differences and work together. They have evolved and made Earth a paradise and a center of a United Federation of Planets. The show is about boldly facing the unknown on the starship Enterprise, light years from Earth, facing challenges with ingenuity, curiosity, humanity and compassion. I would give so much to see it all for the first time again.
