I was very disappointed in the over simplification by the Gov of Washington that fossil fuels are the source of global warming. While they are part of the problem, one of the biggest threats we can change easily was ignored! In St Lucie County, Florida alone there are projected to be more than 60,000 new homes built. Many of those are under construction already. In addition, new businesses are slated….build it and they will come! The impact of clearing millions of acres and replacing them with asphalt and concrete is a huge culprit across the globe.just stand on an asphalt road for 5 minutes and that rings true! Let’s get real if you are going to provide a segment like you did this morning! If we really want to help the earth, we have to come up with a better solution for our housing crisis as well as many other measures…don’t boil it all down to electric cars and energy conscious electrical grids.
