Ok so Mr. Akshay Kumar looks like you still have movies in your kitty.... So for god's sake can you stop endorsing and advertising Gambling ? I hate it when I see people I used to admire suddenly lend their stardom to endorse RUMMY . You have teenagers in family. Have some shame while picking what you are using your stardom to advertise. RUMMY seriously? U now want to encourage your fans to get hooked to betting with cards?? Lost all respect for you, Ajay Devgan, Hritik Roshan and others who are team RUMMY.

I wouldn't call this a bad movie.. but I wouldn't call it a good one either.... I like the paranormal genre and we all know black magic has deep roots in India, there is so much to draw inspiration for storyline from ... So you see I went to theatre to be amazed primarily by the storyline and then by the actors.... I was disappointed. The opening credits of the movie set the mood well.. it showed zoomed in part of making the dolls used in black magic.. but that was it as far as black magic is shown in movie... The deed is done in 3 secs in the movie.. rest of the movie is after effects of that split second decision which led to possession by shaitan. After this there was no story .. just acting (good acting wouldn't deny any cast member due credit) but flat storyline... Spoiler: I predicted the climax even before interval.. it's was soooo predictable... So u see I was just waiting and waiting for an end I saw coming miles away..... And in this time thought of many many angles that could have been weaved into this story .... The epilogue was meant to be chilling maybe but felt comic.. I mean sesly a black magic practitioner and proficient is helpless just cause of a cut tounge and bound hands !? Pleeaaseee... while That would hv worked for normal villian like in Drishyam but here it just makes for a big plot hole, last one of many.... This movie would have been better as a 10-15 min short film... Radhika apte in short film Ahalya was more exiting to watch than this.... Coz by the time ur brain predicts the movie is over.. but here the entire audience knew what was coming and just was watching the starcast deliver their dialogues and complete acting out the script.... So despite all this why won't I call this a bad movie ? The actors did a great job in the limited scope of role they had. . Kudos to the entire cast... P.s - I know this was adapted from a novel and I mean absolutely no disrespect to the author.. I have the highest regard for all storytellers. I haven't read the book either to give an opinion either... My review is purely for script of this movie which I seriously feel falls short for anyone who is interested in the paranormal genre....
