I am a huge fan of John B and of Marvel I’m general, specifically of the Punisher. That said, I was disappointed. Netflix can do great things, especially with their fight scenes but for whatever reason (besides the actual punisher scenes, the fight scenes were deplorable. For instance, SPOILER, the fight between Dinah and the therapist was awful. So unbelievable, poorly acted, just trash. It was awkward. Additionally, the terrible reveal of jigsaw, whose face should’ve been WAYYYY worse, was compounded by terrible acting on his part. I’m bummed out because this show could’ve and should’ve been as good or better than the first season and the daredevil episodes but unfortunately, this was not the case. I still rate the show a solid 7.5 because I enjoyed the pilgrims character, John B’s epic performance and brutality, and the basic storyline. But come on, do better Netflix. Maybe Disney will?

Really good show! I like the creepiness to it. I could really do without the race bait cop episode. White cops bad. Everyone’s racist. Etc etc etc. like they literally equates modern day politics to moving through the Underground Railroad (trip underground to school). Sigh. Other than that, really good stuff. Can’t wait for episode 4. Greg kinear is awesome. Same with Steven yeun!
