Digital Trends and IGN are among the reviewers that know nothing about games, due to them finding easy games like this "too hard, too gory, repetitive, boring story, bad multiplayer". They rated this 7/10 when it deserves 9.2/10. It's like giving darksouls a 5/10 because it has no multiplayer, you don't play doom 2016 for anything but the campaign. These reviewers are clueless. The issue with these game reviewers is they take writers that barely play games at an easy level, then expect them to understand what the average player looks for in games. Doom is exactly as advertised and excels in it's area, it is not last of us (reviewers rate it highly, but gamers find it boring, casual, repetitive... see the trend?). You are best off looking for youtube gamers who actually play games for a living, to review games. Not these wannabe writers to busy too even finish many games they review.
