If you're looking for an escape from the dreary days of Covid 19 - or just for pure pleasure - this book is for you. It's a very witty fantasy/adventure story full of wonderful details about Jane Austen (her ghost) and the Regency period. It combines the magical/supernatural, a blossoming romance and an ever twisting plot and is truly lively and imaginative. Jennifer Kloester's vision is extraordinary and I was transported by it - I highly recommend it.
