I feel as though Studio Ghibli could have done better. What made Studio Ghibli unique was its 2d animation. How it was able to make beautiful films of 2d artwork. All of that energy and emotion was lost in this movie, and it didn't even seem like a studio ghibli film. With the 3d animation the facial expressions fell into uncanny valley territory.
