Where do I begin? I was extremely excited to read The Score due to my interest in Dean in the other books as well as my love for Allie in The Deal. Let’s just say I was not disappointed, and I was already tearing up by page 3. Oops! As I say, I love Allie! And I found myself either laughing at what she said or relating to what she said. Elle Kennedy portrayed two sides of Allie: a powerful side yet also a fragile one. And I’m glad we got to see two kinds of relationships. One obviously between her and Dean, and two between her and Hannah. Dean. Let’s just say there’s a lot more to Dean than meets the eye. And I found myself sympathising with him towards the end of the book. Overall. I really recommend it, and I personally believe that this is better than The Deal! Let’s just say I didn’t realise how emotional I was going to get while reading this. It left me wanting to more.

The Score

For me personally, I did enjoy reading The Mistake, and I don’t know if it was because me and Grace share the same name that I found myself relating to her character. I like that John Logan and Graces’ characters are written differently than Garret and Hannah, meaning that it wasn’t like reading a different love story with the same protagonists. However, I found myself cringing at the unnecessary amount of smut, and with that, I felt like the book dragged on, and in certain parts, I didn’t enjoy the book as much as I wanted to. But on the other hand, if you are not bothered about the amount of smut and that’s something you look for when picking certain books, I recommend. In all honesty, I can’t say it’s my favourite book, but in the same breath, I can’t say I hate it because I don’t. And I think it’s all about personal preference.

The Mistake

I’ve read most of the bridgerton books by Julia Quinn, but The Viscount Who Loved Me has to be my favourite! I love Kate’s character as she’s head strong as well as just a loving person. Anthony well I just love him … Anyway I love the kinda enemies to lovers thing that was going on. While reading this book some moments I actually got butterflies!!! I finished this book in less than i day I was hooked. I feel if you want to read this book just because you’ve watched the series on Netflix I say go for it. Personally I prefer the book as it’s different to the series and you don’t have to listen to lady featheringtons money troubles. I recommend this book as well as the other bridgerton books, if you can try read them in order x

After for me is amazing! The relationship between Tessa and Hardin really drew me in as it was the typical good girl and bad boy scenario. But reading further into After we collided there toxic relationship as well as there arguments became for me repetitive. I would also get annoyed as the relationship between them is emotionally abusive but then because of this i never knew how much passion and opinion i had over these books. I would recommend these books as there nothing like the film!!!
