Started off somewhat promising but then turned into a very stupid film. In addition to attempting to put forward a narrative that the people of AZ are either racist or corrupt crazies, it perpetuated the idea that black men are consistently lawless (giving drugs to a teen) or stupid (stealing what clearly is sketchy money and expecting no consequence). As for the storyline itself, the writing gotten dumber and dumber as the 90 minutes progressed.

The casting is terrible as is the acting. No one believes that ann overweight Mi6 officer (even if her acting was better) could ever be a competent field operative. The plot makes no sense and slogs through a host of spy-film tropes badly. The dead but not dead desert war sniper turned independent assassin. The military cover up in the desert origin story. The assassin and Mi6 operator who both live double lives. A mole at Mi6.The list goes on. I literally fell asleep in Episode 7 and woke up to not have missed a beat. The characters do things that are unbelievable. An assassin that is so good but loses focus because of a crazy Spaniard? A run of the mill mother-in-law and brother-in-law that can beat a skilled assassin’s safe? A gun builder’s sister-in-law that doesn’t delete her text logs with a spy-handler? A gun expert that can’t build adequate defenses to prevent Mi6 from getting in to his compound (especially after his previous compound was raided)? A farmer who could capture an assassin in his barn? I wanted to like this show. First episode seemed really promising. But it was a fast trip downhill on each and every one of the subsequent episodes.

Great things - the contestants (excellent artists and great personalities) Bad things - the judges (negative at all turns); direction/concepts (missing info for the contestants in the directions and poor creativity in coming up with concepts for the contestants to demonstrate); the helpers (neither of Ivan’s helpers seemed to understand basic mechanical engineering, he was at a disadvantage from the start - very disappointing).
